Trying to avoid dying a slow death
"I couldn’t even imagine doing the things I’ve done by now. I knew that I probably would be able to win a Tour stage someday, or Paris -Tours maybe not in the way I did in 2004, but a lot of riders can win in a flat race. But I’ve surprised myself a couple of times..."
