We caught up with Erinne Willock (Team Tibco/To The Top) after her ninth-place time trial effort in the 21.67 km race at 2011 Canadian Road Nationals in Belfountain, Ontario. She reflected on her race and shared her thoughts on Friday's main event, the Elite Women's 103km road race.

Canada's Erinne Willock of Victoria, B.C. scored a career-high 7th place as the top North American in the Elite women's 124.2km road race in Mendrisio, Switzerland on Saturday won by Itay's Tatiana Guderzo . It was her best placement at the Road Worlds since 2007 in Stuttgart where she was 16th.

Some might say that cycling is in Erinne’s blood. Erinne’s father, Martin Willock, was a tenacious Canadian Olympic cyclist himself. From the very first day Erinne could ride a two-wheeler at the age of 3 Martin had Erinne race her sister’s around the yard.
