Il 19 gennaio 2010, con la maglia della Liquigas, Peter Sagan debuttava tra i professionisti in Australia, al Tour Down Under, una settimana prima di compiere vent’anni. Peter è un ragazzo di talento. È vincente e intelligente: soprattutto sensibile. Lo slovacco della Bora Hansgrohe con le sue imprese ha cambiato quella che da sempre è stata l’immagine un po’ retorica del ciclismo: sport fatto solo di fatica, sacrificio e sofferenza. Peter l’ha portata un po’ più in là, con la giusta dose di divertimento e di allegria, diventando di fatto di ispirazione per molti.

Peter Sagan kehrt nach mehr als einem Monat in Südamerika am Samstag bei Strade Bianche in die europäische Straßensaison zurück. Hinter dem dreifachen Ex-Weltmeister aus der Slowakei liegen sieben Renntage in Argentinien, während denen er in fünf Sprints immer in den Top sechs war, nie aber gewinnen konnte, sowie ein Trainingslager in Kolumbien. radsport-news.com hat den 30-Jährigen zu seiner Verfassung nach dem Trainingsblock, seinen Ambitionen bei den Klassikern und der neuen, jungen Konkurrenz befragt. Einzig zu den Entwicklungen um das Coronavirus wollte er nichts sagen, weil er die große Aufregung darum nicht verstehe.

Peter Sagan (Zilina, Eslovaquia 1990) cumplirá 25 años el próximo 26 de enero y dos semanas después, en el Tour de Qatar, iniciará su sexta temporada en el pelotón World Tour. En un nuevo equipo, el Tinkoff-Saxo, después de todo este tiempo en la estructura Liquigas-Cannondale. Desde su primer gran triunfo en una etapa de la París-Niza 2010, ha sumado 59 victorias individuales y la clasificación por puntos de casi todas las pruebas por etapas en que ha participado. En 2014 no faltó a su cita con el maillot verde del Tour, pero como no ganó etapas y al final de la temporada 'solo' ha conseguido siete victorias, resulta que el balance deja un regusto agridulce,

Il reste encore trois jours de course sur ce 101e Tour de France et Peter Sagan ne s'est toujours pas imposé. Le coureur Slovaque est-il fâché? Déçu? Ni l’un, ni l’autre. «Il est tranquille», jure son directeur sportif Stefano Zanatta.

Hoci sa v týchto dòoch aj u nás èoraz viac zaèína hovori o zimných športoch, na svoju novú sezónu sa práve teraz zaèínajú pripravova aj cestní cyklisti. Práve dnes podveèer sa už majú hlási v San Pellegrine aj bratia Peter a Juraj Saganovci, obliekajúci dres tímu Cannondale. Hoci vo vysokohorskom prostredí prídu poèas tých pár dní na rad bežky, náplòou sústredenia bude skôr zoznámenie sa s novými èlenmi tímu a rozhovory o tom, èo bude pretekárov tohto tímu, už opä s talianskym domicilom, v novej sezóne èaka.

Et une de plus ! En guise de mise en bouche de la campagne Ardennaise, La Flèche Brabançonne est plutôt bien lotie. L’épreuve Belge qui a eu lieu ce mercredi dans le Sud de Bruxelles a vu le premier vrai duel de l’année entre Peter Sagan et Philippe Gilbert. Avantage au jeune Slovaque pour le moment qui bat le Champion du Monde dans un beau face-à-face final. Si on excepte la deuxième étape des 3 Jours de La Panne ( où il s’est volontairement laissé distancé ), depuis Milan – San Remo la pire place de Peter Sagan est la seconde… Le coureur de la Cannondale vise maintenant la gagne sur l’Amstel Gold Race ce dimanche. L’an passé, il avait terminé troisième de la course qui relie Maastricht à Valkenburg. Cette année l’arrivée sera modifiée pour reprendre le schéma identique à celui qui a permis à Philippe Gilbert de devenir champion du Monde en Septembre dernier. Naturellement « La Brabançonne » constitue la préparation parfaite, mais cette nouvelle victoire de Sagan lui permet sans doute aussi de prendre l’ascendant psychologique sur son adversaire. Entretien avec celui qui sera la tête d’affiche du Grand Prix de Denain ce jeudi.
Je préfère gagner en solitaire.

Il la tient enfin ! Peter Sagan avait dit que c’était peut-être le destin qui le faisait attendre sa première victoire sur une grande classique. Désormais le Slovaque a pris son destin en main en allant cueillir en solitaire ce soixante-quinzième Gent-Wevelgem. Après une succession de deuxièmes places, dimanche dernier sur Milan – San Remo et ce Vendredi sur l’E3 Prijs Harelbeke, Sagan lève enfin les bras sur une classique et prend le large au classement World Tour. Mais surtout, après avoir démontré sa force face aux plus grands sprinters (sur Tirreno-Adriatico notamment), et son aisance sur les Flandriennes, il se pose comme l’un des principaux favoris pour le prochain Tour des Flandres dans seulement une semaine. Entretien avec le jeune coureur de la Canondale pour Cyclism’Actu.

Como manda la tradición, Peter Sagan recibió el sombrero cordobés que le acredita como ganador en Córdoba. Es su primera victoria en su debut en una gran ronda de tres semanas. El niño prodigio eslovaco sigue admirando.
