Un peu plus de deux mois après sa chute dans Les Trois Vallées Varésines, Sébastien Reichenbach est de retour. Compte tenu de ses blessures, sa présence durant le stage de Calpe et ses états de service sur son vélo constituent un bel exploit. Le sympathique Suisse du Trèfle revient sur cet accident avec sang-froid et en profite pour dessiner les contours de la prochaine saison. Sébastien sera parfaitement dans la philosophie sportive de son équipe.

¡Excelente presentación la de Sebastien Reichenbach, que viene de completar su primer año en FDJ! A los 27 años, tras un buen paso por IAM Cycling, elevó a ún más su rendimiento y brilló como gregario de lujo.

Engagé cette saison par l’équipe FDJ pour être le lieutenant de Thibaut Pinot en montagne, Sébastien Reichenbach est l’une des grandes révélations de la saison. Même s’il a été contrarié par un ennui de santé pendant le Critérium du Dauphiné, le Suisse sera bien l’une des cartes maîtresses du Trèfle en juillet. Sébastien nous dit comment il appréhende cette échéance.

Quatrième du classement général final de Tirreno-Adriatico il y a peu, à une seconde du podium, Sébastien Reichenbach a affiché une progression intéressante dans l’exercice du contre-la-montre depuis qu'il est à la Française des Jeux.

At 24 years old, this youg man from Switzerland, has the cycling world in his hands. Amazing to think he struggled to find a team in 2012! Thank goodness the brilliant IAM Cycling saved him. 2013 was his first season in the World Tour and boy, didn’t he do well. He finished in the top 30 of both Stade Bianche and Roma Maxima(with the front group), was 2nd in the Tour de Berne, won Trofeo Matteotti, finished 4th in the Tour de l’Ain, 8th in the tour of Britain and was 12th in Milano-Torino.
