New Englander Mark McCormak surged to an impressive second-place finish in the USA Cycling national cyclo-cross championships. After the event, McCormack - a longtime veteran on the road and the 2003 USPRO champ - admitted that, while he would continue racing 'cross, his road racing days were over.
