In the foothills of the sun-drenched Pyrenees, Tanja Slater kicked clear of the pack on stage 4 last years Grande Boucle Feminin, the women's Tour de France. It was a supreme effort of courage and commitment that the former triathlete will always remember.

Tanja Slater will be riding next week for Great Britain in the Geelong Tour & Geelong World Cup. Silver medal winner at the British Cycling 2006 Women's Criterium championship, the former triathlete has signed with the Raleigh Lifeforce team for 2007.
