Born in the city of Manizales, Cesar Grajales burst onto the US racing scene when he won the Brasstown Bald stage at the 2004 Tour of Georgia. The victory was impressive to say the least. How often does a rider from a small US team (Jittery Joe's) attack and drop such an elite group of riders?

El Colombiano Cesar Grajales, la Salamandra, como lo conocen en el mundo ciclista, quien derrotó al cinco veces ganador del famoso Tour de Francia, Lance Armstrong, en la etapa de Brasstown Bald en el Tour de Georgia en 2004.

Cesar Grajales jumped out of the pack and became a shining climbing star at Brasstown Bald in 2004, attacking at the bottom of the climb and carrying the lead all the way to the finish, in front of the likes of Lance Armstrong, Jens Voight and Chris Horner.
