American rider to focus on building community-driven cycling events. Jamis-Hagens Berman’s long-time rider Tyler Wren plans to transition from a decade-long career in professional bike racing at the end of his contract in December. Although he is stepping away from the competitive side of the sport, he will remain a staple in the American cycling scene by focusing on building community-driven cycling events through his business, Wrenegade Sports.

Colavita-Sutter Pro Cyclist Tyler Wren is set for a “breakthrough” year according to his CTS coach Jim Lehman. Wren is known on the domestic circuit as “Wrenegade,” a name given to him by (soon to be) Jelly Belly rider Mike Jones. A veteran like Jones wouldn’t give Tyler such a tough name if he didn’t deserve it. Let’s find out what makes this Princeton Graduate and Economist tick.
