Christine Thorburn did her best for the United States of America squad in yesterday's Olympic Games women's road race. While it didn't work out for the North Americans, Thorburn has one more chance to get her country a medal in Wednesday's time trial before retiring at the end of the year.

Webcor riders Christine Thorburn and Katheryn Curi were relaxing in their hotel located in the southern part of Stuttgart. After a short training ride on the Championship course they talked briefly about the time trial on Wednesday and Saturday's road race.

Christine Thorburn is both a world-class cyclist and full-time Stanford MD. After a disappointing 4th place at the Athens Olympics, she was on podium in the women’s TT at the world championships this year in Salzburg.
