Lucas Euser is one of the most talented American riders in the peloton. Euser started his professional career in 2007 at Team Slipstream (Garmin) and rode for that team for 3 years. He then rode for Spidertech for another 3 years, in 2013 he joined his current team; UnitedHealthCare Pro Cycling Team. Euser and his team have the same ambitions, they want to keep growing and show themselves in the biggest races in the world. Lucas Euser of Canadian squad Team SpiderTech has been enjoying a resurgence in his career. Today in Vail, prior to the start of the time trial, I thought I would ask him about his impressions of this new stage race formally known as the USA Pro Cycling Challenge.

Twenty-six-year old Garmin-Slipstream pro Lucas Euser got his start racing mountain bikes while in high school in California’s Napa Valley. He turned to the road as an undergraduate at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on California’s central coast, and is now in his third year racing in Europe.

Garmin Slipstream's Lucas Euser is quite a climbing talent and just finished 8th at the 2009 Tour De Langkawi. He already has quite an impressive resume, including a win at the 2008 Univest Grand Prix.

Lucas Euser is a 24 year old pro riding for Garmin/ Chipotle. He recently finished 4th at the USA Cycling Pro Championship road race, and shortly thereafter, he won the Univest Grand Prix. He will be on the US team for the upcoming world championship road race.

Lucas Euser began his professional career with TIAA-CREF which evolved into the highly successful argyle brigade of Garmin-Chipotle H3O: a team dedicated to the proposition that bike racing can be done successfully without resorting to doping.
