20 year old Drapac Porsche rider Tom Palmer of Canberra won the Pro criterium race in Utsunomiya, held the day before the Japan cup, ahead of a field including riders from Pro Tour Teams such as Saxo Bank, Milram, Garmin Transitions and Katusha.
