On Tuesday afternoon Cycling Australia announced that Steele von Hoff would represent his country at the upcoming Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. By that evening, von Hoff’s Comm Games debut was in jeopardy, thanks to a crash at Melbourne’s Sandown Raceway.

Saturday saw a rider from Australia land in Britain ready to meet his new teammates at NFTO and start work on preparing for a season getting the hands in the air. That rider was Steele Von Hoff.

Steele Von Hoff is one of the main sprinters of Garmin Sharp. The Australian has just started his second season for the American based team. Steele managed to win the first race he did this year (The Australian Criterium Championships) and is looking for some more wins in Europe this year. Cycling Updates is sure Von Hoff can do this, so you better keep an eye on him in 2014!
