Swiss mountain bike and cyclocross professional Thomas Frischknecht enjoys Tuscan red wine, spending time with his wife and three children, and listening to U2. Sounds like a few guys I know! Frischknecht, 37, has been racing professionally since 1989 and shows no sign of slowing.

La sua grandiosa stagione 2005, che gli ha permesso di bissare il titolo iridato nella marathon di Lugano 2003, la rinuncia a disputare il Mondiale di ciclocross e i suoi interessanti progetti per gli anni a venire.

Last season was a marquee year for mountain biking's elder statesman, Thomas Frischknecht. The 35-year-old Swiss grabbed a historic victory at Costa Rica's La Ruta De Los Conquistadores, won his second consecutive marathon world championship and finished the year as the No. 7 ranked rider in the world.
