Conor Murtagh is someone I heard about long before I had the chance to meet him. He's the type of guy whose friends mention him to other people when he's not around, a rarity in a time of thriving self-promotion and a 'me first' culture. I chatted with several of those friends and peers in researching this piece, and walked away acutely aware of the admiration and respect they all had for him.
