Only 25 years old, Aidis Kruopis rise himself as one of the most important Lithuanian riders. During his third season as a pro, he wins four races, wich the most important is the second stage of the Tour of Belgium, showing that he can be competitive at a good level. Tenth in the UCI Europe Tour Ranking, the sprinter from Utena has obtained a place in the first category, as he signed for the new Australian team GreenEDGE.

A soli 25 anni Aidis Kruopis si propone come uno degli elementi di punta del movimento ciclistico lituano. Nella sua terza stagione tra i professionisti, il velocista di Utena ha dimostrato di poter essere competitivo anche ad alti livelli concludendo la stagione nelle file della Landbouwkrediet con un bottino di quattro successi tra cui spicca la vittoria nella seconda tappa del Giro del Belgio.
