Fran Ventoso es uno de los velocistas del momento. Un triunfo en Australia, otro en la Vuelta a Andalucía y dos en la Castilla León. Es uno de los pocos profesionales UCI con cuatro victorias. Su arranque de temporada le ha colocado entre los sprinters más rápidos del momento.
