Fue profesional en España en 2006 con el Nicolás Mateos, aunque posteriormente tuvo que colgar la bicicleta. El destino quiso que regresara a la competición en centroamérica, donde ya ha ganado entre otras carreras la Vuelta a Michoacán y en dos ocasiones la Vuelta a Mazatlán.
