At the age of 35 – and 36 soon in February – triple world champion and triple Milan-San Remo winner Oscar Freire remains highly competitive as he proved in Tanunda by winning stage 4 of the Santos Tour Down Under. It was a bunch sprint of less than fifty riders, not comprising race leader Andre Greipel. The Spaniard is back in business at the beginning of what really looks like his last season this time.
