Este pequeño colombiano nunca mira para atrás, no duda. Miró de frente a su padre cuando le pasó su mano por el hombro, cuando recibió el mejor consejo de su vida: “Hijo, no juegues al futbol, practica ciclismo”. Tampoco giró el cuello cuando, tras terminar su último año en juveniles, se le ofreció recalar en el profesionalismo europeo. Sin escalas. Se subió al avión, sin mirar atrás.
