Le Namibien Dan Craven, 31 ans, vient d’achever son premier Grand Tour en Espagne avec Europcar. Dix ans après son arrivée en Europe, et après avoir trimbalé sa valise chez plusieurs équipes européennes , le Champion sur route du continent Africain 2008 a réussi à gagner la confiance de son manager Jean-René Bernaudeau. Il sera donc de nouveau dans les rangs de l’équipe française la saison prochaine.
