Bas Tietema is a huge Dutch talent, he managed to get 11 wins in the 2013 season. The BMC Development team, one of the strongest development teams in the world, noticed his good results and offered him a contract for the 2014 season. Tietema already started his 2014 season, he is a first year u23 rider this year. But even though he is just a first year u23 rider he managed to start the season with some great results in his home country The Netherlands. We can expect a lot from Bas Tietema in the future so make sure you watch him closely!
