Depuis quinze jours, Sylvain Georges peut de nouveau porter un dossard dans un peloton. Il avait été contrôlé positif à l'heptaminol (un stimulant) sur le Tour d'Italie 2013, à cause d'une négligence, l'utilisation d'un veinotonique vendu sans ordonnance. Licencié d'AG2R La Mondiale, suspendu six mois par la FFC, il avait vu sa peine étendue à 18 mois par l'UCI.
