Ivan Basso gli ha "ceduto" il suo massaggiatore e quel gesto č stato una specie d'investitura: "Ora tocca a te, vai, il futuro č tuo". Il varesino nel 2015 correrā con la Tinkoff di Contador, ma ormai la carriera vede lo striscione del traguardo. Il suo delfino, Davide Formolo, invece proseguirā con la Cannondale che si č unita alla Garmin. Cosė, quasi come un "regalo", ha lasciato che Carmine Magliaro, il custode dei suoi muscoli, seguisse il talento veronese.
