Le champion Irlandais Stephen Roche est l’un des monstres sacrés du cyclisme. Lui et Eddy Merckx sont les seuls vainqueurs du mythique triplé (Giro, Mondial et Tour de France la même année). Très concerné par l’avenir du cyclisme Irlandais et par la formation des jeunes coureurs, il a accepté la proposition du nouveau team de la verte Erin, l’équipe continentale Dynamo Cover Pro cycling, de devenir leur Parrain
