El ciclismo tenía una deuda con Brayan Ramírez. De los cuatro ases que conformaron la selección del Tour de L’Avenir el año pasado, era el único que había quedado a la espera de disfrutar un gran momento. Miguel Ángel López firmó con Astana, mientras que Fernando Gaviria y Rodrigo Contreras destinaron su futuro con el Etixx Quick Step. Y Ramírez, reconocido públicamente por su gran contribución en el título de López, esperaba paciente por entrar en uno de los grandes escenarios del mundo.
