The last months have been a whirlwind for Alex Peters. On the bike, he sequestered himself in the Pelopennese during the winter, occasionally getting chased by Greek dogs protecting their owner’s land. Off it, there were the spoils of being a new Team Sky recruit: he had two custom Rapha fits and met the squad’s 150 staff at their October get-together. That’s a lot of names to remember, though there’s one he already knew: Chris Froome.
