As the Tour Down Under is the new start to the ProTour season and it is the newbee on the cycling calendar; we were wondering why it is so successful? Whos the driving force behind this new ProTour event? When I spoke to Mike Turtur that became abundantly clear: The enthusiasm shone through the telephone line, all the way to Holland! This is a man breathing, eating and sleeping cycling, the Tour Down Under coming out of his pores!
