Depois de vencer o Paris-Tours sub-23 de 2007, Jürgen Roelandts conseguiu um lugar no pelotão Silence-Lotto, uma das melhores equipas do mundo. Esta temporada já foi segundo por duas vezes, uma delas na terceira etapa da Volta ao Algarve, onde teve uma prestação soberba para um jovem de 22 anos.
