El corredor del Acqua Sapone viene a la Vuelta con ganas de cuajar una buena actuación, máxime cuando la carrera se decidirá en su terreno favorito: la montaña. Stefano Garzelli, vencedor del Giro de Italia en el año 2000, no se marca ningún objetivo, pero espera no defraudar en Burgos.
