En su novena temporada como profesional, Haimar Zubeldia afronta el sábado su sexto Tour consecutivo, todos los que ha disputado el Euskaltel-Euskadi. Su quinto puesto en 2003 y las excelentes sensaciones que trasmitió entusiasmaron a los aficionados cuando se codeó con Armstrong y Ullrich junto a Mayo, su compañero de equipo.
