Winning with the An Post Sean Kelly team
Liverpool’s Mark McNally finished the Mi-Août Bretonne tied on time with Norwegian rider Stian Remme but, due to his better finishes on the stages, Mark was awarded the winner’s jersey, giving his team AN Post-Sean Kelly a big boost ahead of some big races in the coming weeks.

The French champion has become the fourth leader in four days at the Vuelta a España. QuickStep's Sylvain Chavanel took the red jersey after Jakob Fuglsang, Daniele Bennati and Pablo Lastras. He did so at the top of the first mountain finish in Sierra Nevada at an altitude of 2100 metres.

Surprised to be in Red
The leader's jersey of the Vuelta a España was yellow and called maillot amarillo when Lars Michaelson wore it for four days in 1997. Riding for TVM, he won the first stage of the Vuelta that started in Lisbon and finished on the car racing circuit of Estoril in Portugal.

Marco Pinotti crashed badly during this years Giro d’Italia, resulting in a compound fracture of his hip and an enforced period of up to three months off the bike. After undergoing surgery to repair the damage, Marco is finally turning the pedals again in the hope of a full recovery.
