George Hincapie crashed out of stage 2 of the Tour of Utah last month and required 18 stitches to close a cut in his right knee. He returned to racing in the ProTour events in Canada and hopes to defend his title in the US National Championships taking place in his hometown, Greenville, on Sunday.
