Racing with the Cervélo Test Team
Portuguese rider João Correia became a pro earlier this season, after two years with the Bissell team in the US. It was a long-delayed return to racing after he first competed at a high level in 1995 and 1996, riding with the Portuguese Troiamariscos squad and then Europolis in Holland.

Destination London 2012 by way of TTown
Polish track sprinter Kamil Kuczyñski recently completed his summer training at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania. 2010 marks his second year in a row using the renowned TTown velodrome as the base for his summer preparations.

Close enough to a fairy tale
Fairy tales are rare in pro cycling, but 25 year old Matthew Busche’s story is as close as they come. Starting the 2009 season as an amateur in the US, he rode just four races for Kelly Benefits before finding himself on Team Radioshack, where he recently podiumed in the Tour of Denmark.

A bright future ahead
Richie Porte has had an incredible season in his first year in the ProTour ranks. The 25 year old Tasmanian was able to notch up his first win in the time trial at the Tour of Romandie and went into the Giro d’Italia, where he won the white jersey and spent three days in the maglia rosa.
