Le champion du monde norvégien Thor Hushovd s'est à son tour exprimé sur le prochain Tour de France : "Je pense que c'est un parcours dur, un Tour dur, mais j'aime la première semaine. Il y a deux, peut-être trois chances pour moi quand il y a une ascension proche de l'arrivée."

Es war eine relativ kurze Saison für Patrik Sinkewitz. Ende Mai unterschrieb der Pilgerzeller Radprofi beim italienischen Rennstall ISD-Neri. Fünf Monate, einen Sieg und einige Rennen später zieht der (jetzt) 30-Jährige eine positive Saisonbilanz.
