Porteur du maillot jaune une journée et 6ème du Tour de France en 2006, vainqueur d’étape sur l’édition 2008 ; le coureur d’Ag2r La Mondiale possède un joli palmarès mais cette saison il n’a pas réussi à le compléter, tout comme en 2005 et 2007.

Even though his year started in February at the Tour of California, the season is not over for Brent Bookwalter of the BMC Racing Team. He will be part of the 9-rider American squad that will take on the world in the road race at the UCI World Championships this Sunday.

Tired, but so happy, Michael Schär looks back to his first participation in a Grand Tour. 59 riders dropped out of the Tour of Spain before the end in Madrid but the young Swiss Astana Team rider persevered. He worked hard and made a big step forward in his development as a professional rider.
