To get full access to this website’s resources, you need to become a member first. Just follow the instructions. Basic membership is free of charge.
About this race
You’ll find the basic navigation on the left side of your screen. Click on a stage to see the particulars of that stage.
History & Statistics
The basic navigation is on the left. When you access one of the categories you’ll find that you can then click on any shown subject [cities, riders, climbs, countries etc]. That will show you the full statistics on that particular subject
News
This category will cover local news on the race itself, and possibly some other big stories that are going on at the same time. For the time being, this will show our own interviews and articles.
Forum
The forum allows you to start new topics on the current race, while the other section allows for anything to do with this website.
This is also where you can find or search for other members or countrymen and request friendships through their profiles (Also see ‘My Profile’). Community status also shows the general website stats, like participating countries and number or members.
My Profile
This profile section is the heart of your membership.
The basic page shows if you have messages from one or more of your friends, and shows which friends are online at the same time.
On the left hand side:
You can upload a picture of your favorite subject (sexually oriented pictures are prohibited), as long it is of good taste.
My Preferences allows for entering a nickname, and more importantly, you can choose the preferred language here. The Newsletter on “yes” will keep you updated on developements by CyclingFever.
My passport speaks for itself
My profile settings offers you a chance to tell something about yourself that might be of interest to others. It can help others in their decision to become your friend on this site. Also, another option is shown at the top, which allows you to add your other contact sites through this website. Several options are offered so guests can learn more about you. You are free in your choice of uploading an alternative website through the passport function (No adult only links allowed!).
Mailbox offers three clear categories, yet you can’t send a mail from here. You can send a message through clicking on a friends profile image.
Friends is a listing of friends already accepted. It also shows received and sent friend requests, if any are outstanding.
On the right hand side you can click on ‘view my public profile’. This is the page anyone can see when they click on your profile and request friendship from.
Below that the Alerts and Newsfeeds are shown. Alerts will show if there’s any mails in your inbox. Newsfeeds tells you if a friend has uploaded a newsitem.
In the center My status. You can state what you’re doing. For instance: “At work now” or “away for a week” so your friends will know why you aren’t reacting to their mails, newsfeeds or friend requests.
