Rather uneventful stage 2 of Tour de Romandie didn't see any major action among the GC favourites, with most teams taking a defensive approach on an ascent to Les Marécottes. Same goes for Juan Ayuso who was seen closing couple of moves by himself in the final kilometers, but never really attempted...
