The high point of the 2006 season for Annette Beutler was undoubtedly her victory in the Swiss National Road Championships, ahead of former three time champion Nicole Brändli. But she was not so happy about the World Championships in Salzburg.

Het hoge punt van het seizoen van 2006 voor Annette Beutler was ongetwijfeld haar overwinning in de Zwitserse Nationale Kampioenschappen van de Weg, voor vroegere drie keer kampioen Nicole Brändli. Maar zij was niet zo gelukkig over de WK in Salzburg.
