Sergey Lagutin is in his thirteenth year as a professional cyclist and in that time he has ridden for more than a handful of top teams, been Uzbekistan National champion six times and took World U23 championships in 2003. We caught up with him at the Katusha training camp just before Christmas.

During the presentation from Landbouwkrediet-Colnago, I had a quick chat with former Under 23 World Champion Sergey Lagutin. The 24 year old rider (it was his birthday the day of the presentation), always a bit timid, was very clear about the upcoming season.
