Simon Carr has gone from one of Ed Hood’s ‘Young Guns’ to a WorldTour professional with the EF Education-Nippo team. Ed caught up with Simon at the team training camp in Provence last week, before he rode his first race of the 2021 season, the GP Marseillaise on Sunday where he finished 24th. Take it away Simon.

L'été semble radieux pour Simon Carr, et ce n’est peut-être pas encore terminé. Stagiaire au sein de la formation Delko-Marseille Provence, le Britannique qui a grandi dans l’Aude a montré de très belles choses lors de l’Artic Race, en Norvège, puis sur le Tour d’Almaty, au Kazakhstan, pour ses deux premières sorties avec les pros.

The stagieire's for the end of 2019 are being announced and young Anglo-French rider, Simon Carr, will be in the colours of the Delko-Marseille Provence for the finalé of the season. Ed Hood caught up with the 'Young Gun' on the eve of his big break with the French ProContinental team.
