Danny Summerhill joined the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team in August 2012 from Team Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda. The versatile young rider from Colorado answered a last minute call from the Team just before the 2012 USA Pro Challenge and did not disappoint. Competing in the second year race with the global spotlight shining brightly on it, the confident young 20-something stepped in and delivered for his new Teammates in the new August classic that traverses through his home state.
