Team Astana, as with any other team is not just about the riders.
GCN went behind the scenes with Nicholas Cage, AKA Michele Pallini, soigneur for Team Astana at the Tirreno-Adriatico, to find out what the typical day for one of the men who look after the riders is like.
Soigneurs by definition take care of the riders, and this means long days for the guys who take on the job, waking up at 6:30 and starting work at 7:30. After a full day, bedtime is usually at about 11:30 - midnight. This isn't a job for those who like eight hours sleep a night!
