MTN Qhubeka are the first African team to start a World Tour race.
MTN Qhubeka have a social goal as well as a sporting goal, to get Africa cycling. Children can earn bikes by growing trees, dividing rubbish for recycling and collecting bottles for recycling.
The team contains a majority of African riders, and they hope to inspire the continent through cycling on the world stage, and by 2015 want to get a place in the Tour de France.
