How do a coach and a mechanic prepare for a time trial? Well, we have the answer. "I check out the parcours a few days before the actual race", says coach Mathieu Heijboer. Joost Hoetelmans feels a time trial is more dynamic for a mechanic. "You have more contact with the riders."
