Ever since he was a kid, John Degenkolb was drawn to the spring classics. The history. The mystique. The raw challenge of racing on cobblestone roads. This year the Team Giant-Shimano rider realized his dreams, winning a classic at Gent-Wevelgem, then riding to the podium at the Queen of the Classics, Paris-Roubaix.
