Walter Bénéteau n'est pas conservé par l'équipe Bouygues Telecom, dans l'effectif 2007, et ne sait toujours pas quelles couleurs il portera la saison prochaine. Mais le Vendéen regarde toujours dans la direction de la compétition. Il ne veut pas stopper sa carrière maintenant.

Vooral door attractief te rijden waren diverse Pro Tour-teams geïnteresseerd in de Nederlander. Ten Dam koos voor Rabobank, maar toen Unibet.com een ProTour licentie verkreeg hield zijn huidige werkgever hem aan zijn contract. In 2007 rijdt Ten Dam daarom voor de Zweedse Unibet.com.
