Lars Petter Nordhaug had a breakthrough year in 2012 with Team SKY, with winning the GP Montreal as an absolute highlight. He also had some bad luck in 2012, in the Amstel Gold Race he was looking for a great result when Cunego rode in his wheel in the finale 400 meter. Lars Petter crashed and wasn’t 100% fit anymore for the Fleche Wallone and Liège-Bastogne-Liège. These 3 races were also Nordhaug his big goal in 2013 but a crash in Milan-San Remo and an illness just before the Amstel ruined his prepartion. If Lars Petter Nordhaug will have some better luck in 2014 he could certainly win one of the Ardennes Classics. Read what Lars Petter Nordhaug had to say to Cycling Updates.
