Potrebbe essere olandese per il fisico, fiammingo per la mentalità, bretone per il coraggio. Comunque un uomo del nord, a cominciare dal cognome, Trentin, dalla regione di nascita, Trentino, e dal genere di corridore, da classiche del nord. Venticinque anni, professionista dal 2012 (ma già uno “stage” nel 2011), due vittorie, tutt’e due al Tour de France, una tappa nel 2013 e un’altra nel 2014, premio rivelazione 2014 al Giglio d’oro. Ecco il ciclismo secondo Matteo.
