Le Belfortain Christophe Moreau a donc réussi, un an après, là où il avait échoué pour 40 centimètres face à Denis Menchov. A 36 ans, les occasions de remporter de grandes victoires sur des lieux mythiques se font plus rares, alors cette victoire au Ventoux, Christophe Moreau l'a particulièrement savourée.
