Following in the footsteps of Tim Johnson and Chris Horner, Olson will be the next American addition to the Saunier Duval-Prodir ProTour squad.

It's not every day that a professional cyclist gets signed with a Pro Tour team, and the frequency goes down even more if you happen to be looking for an American rider in the European peloton. Saunier Duval-Prodir had good success with Chris Horner in 2005, and when he moved over to Davitamon-Lotto for the upcoming season, the team wanted to fill his spot with another American rider.
